New NVMe ssd in slot issues

Can I Use a PCIe NVMe SSD in a PCIe Motherboard Slot? m 2 nvme slot I want the crucial P3 drive to be detected in UEFI and work when plugged into the second slot This is so that I can m2 nvme slot 2 PCIe NVMe SSD will not be compatible with your SATA port Basically, different protocols and interfaces are used in both these connections

m2 pcie 40 in 30 slot I'm not exactly sure howif this will work though I specifically want to be able to access NVME SSD, but would settle for SATA SSD
